Hard to believe 2009 is already come and gone. It was a successful year on all fronts and I thank all of my customers for helping to make it a good year! But now that 2010 has come it's soon time to get started on new projects.

Our wonderful vacation in Palm Springs is coming to an end tomorrow and it'll be back to the studio and creating new products. First up is Valentine's Day and then Easter. Will be painting and sewing up a storm. For those of you that like the primitive look there'll be lots of new things to choose from.

I'm going to be trying my hand at doing some sculpting with paper clay this year. My desire is to create both some prim and some realistic products.

Can't wait to get home, except for going back to cold and snow, and get started.

Good Morning and thanks so much for visiting my blog. I'm in the process of updating my web site so if you notice any problems please contact me and let me know. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I do know there is a problem with the "Sheep" page and am trying to figure out how to fix it and get it up and running as soon as possible.

I'm also working on several new things and hope to have them up by the end of April '09. Some of them are - canvas hand painted book covers in several sizes, canvas place mats with painted designs, primitive stitcheries, painted stretched canvas designs, painted decoratvie pillows and many new needle felted items. I'm excited about the changes and hope you will find something of interest for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

Here it is the middle of March in central Oregon and we got about 8 inches of snow this morning. And it's still coming down hard. It was beautiful last week, warm and sunny and I am so ready for spring! Oh well......guess it won't start today.

Another Mother's Day is here, take the time to celebrate with your's. I am so lucky to still have mine, and living close by to boot. But, I have plenty of friends who don't have theirs anymore.

Our snow is finally melted away and the grass is beginning to green up. It'll be time to fire up the sprinkler system before long.

Any of you Oregonians, or even those in southeastern Washington and western Idaho who don't have plans yet for Memorial Day weekend might think about taking a day trip to Sumpter, Oregon and taking in the huge flea market. It runs Saturday through Monday (although a few vendors are open on Thursday and a few more on Friday) and is WELL worth the time to stop by if you're looking for anything vintage and unusual. They barter with you and thre is everything from true junk to wonderful antiques, handmade crafts, handmade soaps and lotions and most anything else you can think of.

I'm off to start preparations for dinner for my Mom (deep fried turkey). Have a nice day, hope your weather is nice and you enjoy a wonderful Sunday.
